NASHVILLE, TN (June 30, 2023) – Newcomer Austin Snell offers vulnerability on his recent project titled “Songs From My Phone” available today via River House Artists and Warner Music Nashville. The three tracks in the collection initially started as recorded voice memos by the country-grunge rocker and were recently recorded as demos in a hotel room in Key West, Florida with fellow RIver House songwriter and producer, Lukas Scott. The project draws its name from the unfiltered glimpse at Snell’s writing process and these personality-driven tracks offer a window into the heart of Snell, who doesn’t shy away from showing raw emotion. LISTEN HERE.“These songs came out fast and furious, and it continues to be a blessing for me to write, create, and release new music,” says Snell. “These songs were recorded as demos in a hotel in Key West with producer Lukas Scott. I really feel like the stripped-down nature of these tracks captures the nature of how quickly and fully formed these songs presented themselves to me. I’m so excited to share these with fans and give them a taste of what’s to come.” |
This year, Snell has been named the latest and first country artist to be selected as a part of SiriusXM’s Artist Accelerator program and was also a “Highway Find” via SiriusXM’s The Highway. His previously released singles, “Excuse The Mess,” “Get There First,” “Pray All The Way Home,” and a cover of Cassadee Pope’s hit single “Wasting All These Tears,” have accumulated over 45 million streams across all platforms.“Songs From My Phone” Track Listing:*All tracks produced by Lukas ScottLines (Austin Snell, Christian Yancey, Sam Johnson)Whiskey In A Wine Glass (Austin Snell, Zach Abend, Spencer Jordan)Things I Shouldn’t Do (Austin Snell, Adam Craig, Gabe Foust)row back.
