Nashville, TN – (April 25, 2026) – Multi-Platinum-selling 2026 ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee Cody Johnson rocked his first headlining performance at Stagecoach in Indio, CA, on Friday night. Surprise guests included Jay Buchanan (Rival Sons) and Boyz II Men.
Cody and Jay performed their brand-new Amazon Music Original song, “Rabbit Gets the Gun,” written by Travis Meadows and Levi Lowrey, released earlier this week ahead of the festival. Rival Sons is Cody’s all-time favorite rock band. Boyz II Men, a vocal group that has had Cody’s admiration for many years, joined to perform “On Bended Knee.”
Last week, Cody announced his new studio album, Banks Of The Trinity, will be released on June 26, 2026. Produced by Trent Willmon, the COJO Music/Warner Records Nashville album will be available in stores and on all digital retailers and streaming platforms.
