ANAHEIM, Calif. – At the second neutral site PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Camping World Team Series event of the season this past weekend in Anaheim, California, the Ariat Texas Rattlers finished fourth going 1-1 in game play. The team is now ranked No. 5 in the league with a 3-4 overall record.
As game play got underway Saturday night inside Honda Center, the Rattlers first took on the Arizona Ridge Riders. Winning the game by 0.25 points in walk-off fashion, it was Texas’ closer Daniel Keeping who clinched the 172.5-172.25 victory for his team.
Eager to continue their momentum on Championship Sunday, the Texas Rattlers then took on the league No. 2 Carolina Cowboys. However, despite a mammoth 89.25-point ride from Joao Ricardo Vieira to begin the game, Texas fell to Carolina 89.25-173.5.
When the dust settled, the Rattlers concluded the event in Anaheim fourth after going 1-1 in game play. They are now ranked No. 5 in the league, with a 3-4 overall record, four games behind the No. 1 Austin Gamblers.
