“I’m thrilled that our award win tonight was a group effort with my band and crew. Together we all made that performance come alive at last year’s show,” shared Cody. “Tonight, I was honored to be asked to perform twice. And what a ride it was especially sharing the stage with some of the greatest legends of all time. Last night’s award win was the follow up to his two CMT Music Award wins at the 2022 ceremony for CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year for “Dear Rodeo” from CMT Campfire Sessions and Male Video of the Year for “’Til You Can’t.”
