“Recording this album has been a dream come true. I dearly love Christmas music, and I got to play the iconic mandolin solo on “Christmas Time’s A Comin’” taught to me by the legend himself, Bill Monroe. When I taught bluegrass at Hunters Lane High School in Nashville, Bill Monroe was on the steering committee and made sure that I taught mandolin the way he played it. After all, he is the father of bluegrass,” shared producer Dr. James Satterwhite.” I got together with all my bluegrass buddies, Casey Driscoll, fresh off the road with John Jorgenson, Johnny Bellar, reigning national dobro champ, Mark Barnette, who led the Bluegrass band at Opryland and now teaches bluegrass at Volunteer State College and John Frost, lead singer for The Four Guys, featured vocal group on the Grand Ole Opry for 20 years along with Alexius Frost, a sought after vocalist for recording sessions in Nashville to record what I think is the most beautiful acoustic Christmas CD I’ve ever heard. This collection of Nashville’s finest musicians and vocalists set out to play all the big Christmas standards with a bluegrass band. The result is both beautiful and unique.”

“My vision was to create a Bluegrass Christmas album that the Bluegrass Fans will love but give the contemporary Country fans an album that they will also like,” expressed Country Rewind Records -Thomas Gramuglia. The Blue Mountain Christmas album is real Country Christmas. I thank the Blueridge Bluegrass Mountain Band that made this vision happen.”
