Georgia Native and singer-songwriter Shelby Lynn has been recognized by producers in Nashville, Tennessee, with her recent single, “Boots,” which was produced by Billy Dawson. Shelby wrote the song “Boots” in dedication to all of our men and women who have served/ are currently serving in our military, including her husband, with whom she shares his story through this original song.

Since releasing “Boots,” her song has been heard all over the world. Most importantly, it has touched the hearts of the military community. Thousands of military families and members reached out to Shelby about what her song meant to them and shared their personal stories, and even sent personal pictures and videos from their military lives. Shelby took all of those pictures and videos and made a music video for her song “Boots,” which has gained 50k views and counting.

“Boots” by Shelby Lynn is an original song that Shelby wrote to honor all of our men and women who have served our country. Shelby comes from a family of veterans, including her husband, who is also a United States Marine Corps veteran. As a military spouse, Shelby wrote this song based on her husband’s story but touches on many aspects of military life to relate to all service members, veterans, and families.

Singer-songwriter Shelby Lynn has had a love for music/ performing from an early age. Finding the stage by age 9, Shelby Lynn excelled as a performer and began to develop her skills as a singer and a performer, performing at various festivals, benefits, and stages.

By age 11, she was already getting opportunities like getting to open up for country star Aaron Tippon. Shelby is now 24 years of age and still performing, but most importantly, she is writing and releasing country music that tells her story.
