Nashville, TN – OKAY JOE, a not-for-profit musician on a mission to utilize the power of music for societal good, announces the launch of a groundbreaking initiative to build music schools across the United States. With a unique blend of country, EDM, and rap, OKAY JOE’s music captivates audiences of all ages while serving a higher purpose.
Since 2017, OKAY JOE, formerly known as Joe Berk, has been making waves in the music industry. Despite receiving a lucrative record deal offer, he bravely turned it down to uphold his creative autonomy. Rejecting the deal was a pivotal moment that spurred the inception of OKAY JOE, a project rooted in philanthropy and artistic freedom.
Driven by a passion for music education and creative empowerment, OKAY JOE channels all proceeds from streaming royalties, merchandise sales, NFTs, brand partnerships, and concerts towards establishing music schools. These institutions will offer scholarships to children from low-income families, ensuring access to music education for all.
“These not-for-profit schools will be focused on two things,” says OKAY JOE. “For teachers, the focus will be on paying them above market rate, creating more job opportunities for musicians since it is such a hard but important career path for people to choose. For students, the focus will be on giving scholarships to low-income kids so that everybody has an equal opportunity to learn and create music.”
OKAY JOE’s debut single, “Goodnight Together,” embodies the artist’s eclectic style, blending country-inspired lyrics with EDM beats and rap elements. Set to release on May 17th, the track promises to deliver infectious melodies and positive vibes. Join OKAY JOE on this transformative journey by pre-saving “Goodnight Together” on Spotify and supporting the mission to build a brighter future through music.
OKAY JOE is a not-for-profit musician dedicated to using music as a tool for social change.
With a genre-blending sound and a commitment to philanthropy, OKAY JOE aims to redefine the role of independent artists in today’s music industry.
Through the establishment of music schools and scholarships, OKAY JOE seeks to empower individuals from all walks of life to discover their creative potential and pursue their passion for music.
