CHAMPIONS WERE CROWNED CLOSING THE 99TH TUCSON RODEO WITH A SELL-OUT CROWD

The 99th Tucson Rodeo concluded today with the Tucson Rodeo Finals where contestants competed for a share of the $387,000 purse.

Kyle Lucas earned the Lynn Beutler All Around Buckle for his efforts in Tie Down and Team Roping.

The afternoon started with Bradlee Miller riding Andrews Rodeo’s Empty Promises to the day’s high score of 86.5.

In Steer Wrestling, Luke Gee had today’s best time of 4.6 but Tanner Brunner is the aggregate winner with a score of 10.2 on 2 head.

In Team Roping, Cody Snow and Hunter Koch were today’s winners, 4.5 and the aggregate winner, 10.3 on 2 head.

Kolby Wanchuk’s Saddle Bronc Ride earned him the day’s high score of 88.0 on Beutler and Son’s Nutrena’s Hammerstone. Statler Ray Wright was the week’s aggregate winner with a score of 169.0 on two.

In Tie Down Roping, Tuf Case Cooper was the day winner, 8.9 and the aggregate winner, 17.5 on 2 head.

Chelsea Moore won the day and the aggregate with today’s score of 17.07 and the aggregate of 34.49/2.

The afternoon ended with Bull Riding and Chase Dougherty ran away with it, scoring 88.0 today and 176.5 on 2 for the aggregate.

The 99th Tucson Rodeo was enjoyed by a sellout crowd of 11, 400 for the second day in a row. The Tucson Rodeo returns for its 100 anniversary, February 15 – 23, 2025.
