Faith LaicheNASHVILLE, TN (June 30, 2023) – While recently in a writing session with the non-profit CreatiVets at the Opry House in Nashville, River House Artists’ Kasey Tyndall was visited by friend Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show who delivered news about an exciting career milestone. Disguising his visit as an opportunity to give the new mother a gift, Secor presented Tyndall with a onesie for her new baby featuring her Grand Ole Opry debut date. The date, July 19, falls on Tyndall’s birthday. Secor delivered a one-two punch, offering the visibly moved Tyndall the opportunity to join his band Old Crow Medicine Show with an opening slot at Ryman Auditorium on December 30, which will mark her debut at the historic venue.
This year has been an exciting one for Tyndall. She was welcomed as a member of the 2023 class in CMT’s Next Women of Country program and welcomed her first child in April. Later this summer, she will open for Hank Williams, Jr. and Old Crow Medicine show at two major venues in the Northeast.
