Las Vegas, NV – The 2026 NBHA Professional’s Choice Vegas Super Show, held May 29-31 at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas, experienced an isolated incident during the early morning hours of Saturday, May 30, involving the mistreatment of a limited number of equine athletes by an event competitor.

The situation was addressed immediately in coordination with the National Barrel Horse Association, the South Point Hotel & Casino Security, Metro Police, and all appropriate parties. The individual involved has been removed and placed in the care of authorities, and there is no ongoing threat of any kind.

Tenn Texas Media is aware of reports concerning an incident involving the mistreatment of a limited number of equine athletes during the 2026 NBHA Professional’s Choice Las Vegas Super Show held at the South Point Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to an official statement released by the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA), an isolated incident occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday, May 30, and was addressed immediately in coordination with NBHA officials, South Point Hotel & Casino Security, Metro Police, and other appropriate authorities. The individual involved has reportedly been removed from the event and placed in the care of law enforcement. Officials have confirmed there is no ongoing threat to participants, spectators, or horses.
