NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The (3-6) Nashville Stampede completed a dramatic 259.25-258.25 walk-off win over the (4-6) Carolina Cowboys in front of an energetic Bridgestone Arena crowd Saturday Night during the second night of PBR Teams: Stampede Days.

Veteran Cody Jesus provided the heroics in the bottom of the fifth for the hometown contingent by going the distance aboard Buffalo Heifer for a Day 2-high 89 points.

“This is why you do it – go through the injuries, work your tail off: to chase this feeling. There’s nothing like it in the world,” Stampede Head Coach Justin McBride said on home dirt following Jesus’ game-clinching out.

Stampede teammates Alan de Souza (85.5 points on Late Night Toss) and Austin Richardson (84.75 points aboard L.A.)helped set the stage earlier in the game, providing clutch conversions during the team’s opening pair of opportunities.
