Hen Up® Organic Food for Chickens is partnering with chicken owners to host backyard concerts




ARDEN HILLS, Minn.Sept. 30, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Hen Up® Organic Food for Chickens presents Coopstock™, the first-ever backyard concerts exclusively for chickens. The concerts will feature live music and their owners and others can come, too. 

“Chickens are known for their personalities, and they thrive on stimulation and engagement. So we wanted to celebrate that and have some fun with them by hosting live concerts from their coop,” said Scott Schraufnagel, director of marketing communications, Hen Up.

Anita Leadbetter hosted the first Coopstock in North Yarmouth, Maine, on September 12. “Our chickens love country music, so it was fun to host one of our favorite bands to play for our girls,” said Leadbetter.

Leadbetter and her 30 fluffy Silkie chickens and Cochin Bantam hens hosted about 40 of their close family and friends to enjoy a live country music band, 2 for Jackson, a country duo.

“Our chickens bring us so much joy and entertainment, not to mention delicious eggs,” said Leadbetter. “Of course, we want to thank them for their cuteness and all their hard laying work by making sure they are taken care of in the best way possible. We make sure they are fed a yummy, healthy and well-balanced diet by providing Hen Up.”

Backyard chicken owners, friends and family can follow other events on Facebook or Instagram, as five others host concerts across the country for their feathered friends to shake their tailfeathers. Other concert hosts include:

This year, Gaylord National is excited to offer I Love Christmas Movies, an exclusive pop-up exhibition, also in collaboration with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, that allows guests to experience scenes from beloved holiday movies, including THE POLAR EXPRESS™, A CHRISTMAS STORY™, ELF™, NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATION and THE YEAR WITHOUT A SANTA CLAUS, in a completely new way. Deals includes release of special Voodoo Punch canned moonshine cocktail




GATLINBURG, Tenn. and NEW ORLEANSOct. 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Sugarlands Distilling Co., an award-winning craft distillery, along with the NFL’s New Orleans Saints today announced a multiyear partnership making Sugarlands Shine the “Official Moonshine of the Saints.” As part of the deal, Sugarlands will also produce two specialty products unique to the New Orleans market and surrounding areas.

Voodoo Punch is a lightly carbonated canned moonshine cocktail featuring a blend of tropical fruit including pineapple, coconut, citrus and a hint of cherry. It is the first canned moonshine cocktail to feature official NFL marks. Voodoo Punch is the second ready-to-drink (RTD) canned moonshine cocktail from Sugarlands, along with One-Two Punch, which was announced earlier this month.

In addition, Sugarlands will release a limited-edition Voodoo Punch Moonshine, which commemorates 55 years of thrilling Saints football history. Voodoo Punch Moonshine is made from Sugarlands’ signature shine, blended with the taste of tropical fruit punch, coconut, citrus and a hint of cherry. Voodoo Punch canned moonshine cocktail, Voodoo Punch Moonshine and other Sugarlands products will be distributed in the state of Louisiana through Republic National Distributing Company.

Voodoo Punch canned moonshine cocktail will make its debut during the New Orleans Saints home game this Sunday, October 3, against the New York Giants and will be available throughout the season at the Caesars Superdome. Fans can purchase Voodoo Punch and other Sugarlands products on gameday throughout Champions Square and the Superdome concourse.

As part of the partnership, The Corner Office, a specialty cocktail tavern that opened at the Superdome in 2018 is being rechristened Sugarlands Distilling Co. at The Corner Office. Located next to Gate D on the Southeast side of the building, adjacent to Champions Square, Sugarlands Distilling Co. at The Corner Office will serve up Voodoo Punch and other Sugarlands products during Saints home games and all events at The Superdome.
