The Grand Ole Opry today announced the lineup for the third season of Nashville’s favorite holiday tradition, Opry Country Christmas, returning to the Grand Ole Opry House.
Kicking off the Opry Country Christmas season will be Opry-member elect Jon Pardi on November 26.
Capitol Records Nashville’s multi-Platinum singer/songwriter/producer just announced the release of his first Christmas album Merry Christmas From Jon Pardi for Oct. 27, just three days after he is officially inducted in to the Grand Ole Opry family on Oct. 24.
Kicking off the third season of Opry Country Christmas on November 26 will be Pardi’s first major activity as an official Opry member.
Merry Christmas From Jon Pardi, the 12 track holiday album produced by the award-winning team of Pardi, Bart Butler and Ryan Gore, is available now for pre-add/pre-save here.
Presented by Humana, the Opry Country Christmas series will also feature special performances by Spotlight Artists including Opry members Jon Pardi (Nov. 26) and Lauren Alaina (Nov. 29); multi-platinum selling Country artist Scotty McCreery (Dec. 3); Opry members Trace Adkins (Dec. 7), Chris Young (Dec. 10), Lady A (Dec. 11); TBD (Dec. 14); Award-winner Steven Curtis Chapman (Dec. 17 matinee); and the Opry’s Chris Janson (Dec. 18).
Other special guests including John Berry, Maddie & Tae, Kathy Mattea, Lorrie Morgan, The Scott Family, The War And Treaty will round out the shows made up of artists’ original songs and timeless Christmas favorites.
Hosted by Grammy winning Opry member Larry Gatlin, each Opry Country Christmas show also features Opry members The Gatlin Brothers, Riders In The Sky, Mandy Barnett and Country Music Hall of Famer Charlie McCoy.
