“Hallelujah” is the first song I learned to cover and my favorite cover song.
It is also my grandma’s favorite song and when I was about 8 years old, I made her a promise that one day I would learn to play and sing it for her.
Well, little 8-year-old me grew up into a man, and here I am nearly fifteen years later releasing my own version of the song! Grandma, just like every other time: This one’s for you!”

“Now I’ve heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don’t really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor falls, the major lifts
The baffled king composing
Hallelujah Hallelujah,
Hallelujah Hallelujah,
Hallelujah
Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the
Hallelujah Hallelujah,
Hallelujah Hallelujah,
Hallelujah …”
“Hallelujah” was produced by Bold Studio Nashville. It was mixed by Mark Lonsway and mastered by Mayfield Mastering. Studio musicians on the single included Tyler Cain (electric guitar, bass), Jay Tooke (drums), Bruce Bouton (steel guitar) and Rob Wolf ( guitar).
Rob Wolf is a rising Nashville artist originally from Livingston, Montana, home of the majestic Paradise Valley.
Rob was first bitten by the music bug in school productions and dug in deep when he found and fell in love with the guitar.
Although he always thought he would be a pilot or pursue baseball, Rob’s love of music drove him to pursue a career in Nashville.
Rob pulled on his roots when he made the move to Nashville.
At age 15, Rob began playing at coffee shops and at the Sage Lodge in Paradise Valley, where he served as a dishwasher.
His dishwashing days were quickly over, as his part-time playing led to revolving bookings and a Friday night spot at Sage Lodge.
Pulling on 90’s country music covers and a love for John Denver, Rob entertained crowds until he left for Nashville.
Montanans have a common saying: You can take the boy out of Montana, but you can never take Montana out of the boy. Nothing could be truer for Rob.
His fondest memories are those on the river’s edge with a fly rod in his hand, his dad down the bank, and John Denver’s voice floating through the air.
Like the song, Home, suggests, Rob left his roots to pursue his dream of being a daily name in the country artist scene.
“I live by three rules”
“love God, love your family, and don’t take anything for granted.”

Tying in a play on words, “Destiny” was dropped in August, followed by “Peacefully” based upon the realization that the good things in his life came from passion and dedication.
