BEAVER DAM, KY – May 27, 2025 – Independent Kentucky six-piece Ole 60 has officially set a new ticket sales record at Beaver Dam Amphitheater, selling an impressive and serendipitous 6,060 tickets for their upcoming headline show on Friday, June 13, 2025. This milestone surpasses the previous record set by Oliver Anthony. The show is completely sold out, marking a historic moment for both the band and the venue.
“This means the world to us,” Ole 60 frontman Jacob Ty Young shares of the record-breaking achievement. “We’ve been looking forward to this show since the day we heard it would happen. Going to be a hell of a night.”
The sellout caps off the band’s spring 2025 Outta My Way Tour in a meaningful way, returning to their home state to play for a record crowd. The band has earned notable sellouts across their four-month, nationwide trek, headlining shows for nearly 50k attendees since the start of the year.
Heath Eric, Beaver Dam Amphitheater’s venue promoter at The Eric Group, shares his excitement about the new record: “We knew from the beginning that Ole 60 was something special, and we fully expected this show to sell out. We’re absolutely thrilled that a band from right here in our region now holds the record — it’s a powerful reminder of the incredible talent we have right here in our western Kentucky backyards. It’s a homecoming in so many ways, with band members having roots and family in Beaver Dam and the surrounding communities.”
“It’s going to be one of those unforgettable evenings,” he continues, “right up there with the legendary performances we’ve hosted at The Dam, from John Prine, Tyler Childers, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Jr., Sheryl Crow, Jason Isbell, Nelly, and so many others.”
Earlier this month, Ole 60 dropped “Nancy Ave,” their first new music in over seven months – a strikingly broken, acoustic single that’s a snapshot of home, named after an avenue in Lewisport, KY just one town over from the band’s homebase of Hawesville. Written by the band’s Jacob Ty Young and Dwight McGlynn and produced by Jacquire Young and Justin Eckerd, “Nancy Ave” looks back without regret.
This summer, the road warriors won’t slow down, performing at festivals like Lollapalooza, Born & Raised Fest, Harley-Davidson Homecoming, Country Concert, Rock The Country, and BST Hyde Park opening for Zach Bryan. They’ll then launch their 2025 U.S. Tour, with noteworthy stops including Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, Atlanta’s Coca Cola Roxy, and Fort Worth’s Billy Bob’s, among others, before.

About Ole 60
Made in Hancock County, Kentucky, Ole 60 is not your father’s country band. Caught in the crosshairs of indie rock sonics, folk songwriting, and country sensibilities, the six-piece from Hawesville shot to notoriety in 2024 with “smoke & a light,” topping Spotify’s U.S. Viral Top 50 chart with the on-fire single and the Apple Music Country Albums chart with their debut EP, three twenty four, surpassing genre titans Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen in the process. In September, they did it again with sophomore EP Songs About You and breakout hit, “Thoughts of You,” topping TikTok’s all-genre Viral 50 Music chart. Heavily influenced by Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, Radiohead, John Prine, and Nicholas Jamerson, and surpassing over 430 million global career streams, the band delivers with “solid musicianship, a willingness to experiment with sounds from psychedelic-tinged rock to more stripped-down fare, and a penchant for detailed storytelling” (Billboard). Headlining their nearly sold-out Outta My Way Tour and just-announced 2025 U.S. Tour, opening select dates for Zach Bryan throughout 2025, and performing at Lollapalooza, Born & Raised Fest, Sand In My Boots Fest, Harley-Davidson Homecoming and more, the boys from Kentucky are in the studio now recording their forthcoming full-length debut album.
