Scottsdale, AZ – November 19, 2025 – Organizers of the Kimes Ranch Million Dollar Breakaway and CN Productions Rising Stars events, originally slated for November 24-30 in Scottsdale, Arizona, have announced that both competitions will be rescheduled in response to the current Equine Herpesvirus (EHV-1) outbreak impacting horse communities.
The decision was made out of an abundance of caution, prioritizing the health and safety of all horses. Both Million Dollar Breakaway and Rising Stars Events will be rescheduled to December 15-21 in Scottsdale while organizers continue to monitor the situation. If necessary, the event will be pushed to the spring.
